Chief Executive Officer

Sharudin Chik helms Rinani as the Chief Executive Officer. He graduated from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia with a degree in Business Studies and later earned his certificate in Insurance from Institut Teknologi MARA. He had served various positions in Syarikat Takaful Malaysia Bhd and Hong Leong MSIG Takaful Bhd, predominantly in the area of business development and branch operation. He joined Rinani Advisory since its inception in 2013 and brings with him 20 years of industry experience in developing insurance/takaful programs that caters to specific needs of various types of clients for both General and Family/Life.

Head of Admin & Human Resources

Siti Hanum binti Md Kornin graduated from Universiti Utara Malaysia with a bachelor’s degree in banking. She has various experiences in the field of marketing, business development, event management, corporate administration and recruitment management. She now heads the administration and human resources role of Affinity Advance.

Head of Distributions

Ruzee bin Baharim graduated from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 1987 with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. He has vast experience of 26 years serving various roles and positions with MCIS Insurance, MNI Takaful, Allianz Life, and Hong Leong MSIG Takaful. He had accumulated a respectable amount of experience in the area of business developments, product marketing and development, operations and business support for bank, General and Family Takaful as well as training.

Chief Financial Officer

Gamal Adlan Nordin a business graduate (accounting) of University of Miami, USA. Gamal brings with him 22 years of extensive experience and consolidated skills across a wide range of industries; from automotive & telecommunication to media @ real estate development.

Over the last decade, he has thrived in challenging atmospheres; exposed to myriads of economics scenarios and organizations set up. In his last role as a business consultant to the East Coast Economic Region (ECER) Development Council, he worked closely with a team of professional consultants of different specializations to craft and deliver new business models, strategic initiatives and development concepts along with their respective implementation plans for each assigned regional economic cluster.

Head of Special Project

Attiah Abu Bakar graduated from Institut Teknologi MARA with a Diploma in Accountancy. She then pursued her Bachelors of Science in Accounting from Central Michigan University, USA where she later attained her Masters in Business Administration. In 1987, she started her career in the insurance industry with focus in agency sales and development. She later developed her core expertise in call centre management, medical claims administration and marketing of TPA services. With over 30 years of industry experience, she has earned accolade as an all-rounder in the administration of TPA and healthcare operations. She joined Rinani in December 2012 as its Head of Special Project.
